Vessels of Peter Spronk: The Catamarans That Shaped a Caribbean Legacy

Peter Spronk was not a mass production boatbuilder. He was a visionary designer and craftsman who created custom catamarans, each built with a specific purpose, owner, and sailing environment in mind. Because of this, no two Spronk catamarans were exactly the same  and each vessel carried its own story.

From the 1970s onward, Spronk’s designs helped define what large sailing catamarans could be in the Caribbean: fast, stable, ocean worthy, and ideal for charter and long distance sailing.
